Argentina × Messi is a fan-made football landing page concept created to celebrate Lionel Messi’s legacy with the Argentina national team while building excitement around the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Rather than designing a traditional sports website filled with scores and statistics, the concept focuses on emotion, history, national identity, and storytelling. The experience combines cinematic football imagery, bold typography, Argentina-inspired colors, career milestones, trophies, team history, and supporting statistics to create an immersive digital tribute.
The visual direction takes inspiration from the atmosphere of a night-time football stadium. A predominantly dark interface allows Argentina’s iconic sky blue, white, and gold accents to stand out while giving photography and key headlines greater visual impact. The hero section immediately establishes the theme with Messi, the World Cup trophy, and the headline “We Will Win 2026 FIFA World Cup.” The oversized typography and full-width composition are designed to feel closer to a sports campaign than a conventional website.
The page follows a storytelling-based structure. Visitors first encounter the emotional hero section before moving into Messi’s journey, Argentina’s football history, major achievements, trophies, milestones, and team information. Clear visual hierarchy, large imagery, compact statistics, timelines, cards, and contrasting sections help break a large amount of football content into information that can be quickly explored.
